Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Intake. Plain English, no surprises.

These are starter terms. They are a reasonable beginning, not legal advice. Have a solicitor review them before you rely on them commercially.

1. What this service does

We provide software that lets a business collect documents, form answers and signatures from its own clients through a private link. The business using the software is responsible for what it collects and why.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.

3. Your content

Documents and answers uploaded through the service belong to you and your clients. We claim no ownership over them. We store them only to provide the service.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to collect material that is unlawful, or to request information you have no lawful basis to hold. We may suspend an account that does.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where practical.

6. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service at any time. On request we will delete your data, subject to any retention we are legally required to observe.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change.
